Jackson Gore: Past, Present & Future

A family-owned resort that is always looking forward.

Family owned for 34 years by Tim and Diane Mueller, Okemo Mountain Resort has provided a mountain playground for adventurers and families from all over to experience Vermont. Warmth and hospitality have been a trademark of the mountain since the Muellers took ownership in 1982 and continue to this day. The mountain is based on a family tradition of service and making the guest the most important person at the resort… and that tradition carries into all of the Jackson Gore properties.

The entire staff is committed to making sure the experience of everyone who stays and plays at this resort has the most pleasurable and memorable experience possible.

A few of the most recent improvements:

  • two state-of-the-art bubble chair lifts (one with heated seats)
  • more power to their top-rated snowmaking
  • new groomers to their powerful fleet
  • radio frequency lift access cards that enable skiers and riders to glide through lift gates
  • upgraded top-flight ski rental shop
  • teamed up with SnowPark Technologies for exciting new terrain park additions
  • added lift-served mountain biking for warm weather months
  • added Coleman Brook Mining Company to the already popular Adventure Zone

These are just a few of the ways that Okemo is making sure your resort experience is the best it can be. And you can count on that tradition carrying into the future as Okemo is continually looking for new trails, adventures and amenities to add and new ways to improve your mountain resort experience.
